Olympic TL4828E: A Top-Loading Powerhouse for Busy Ceramic Studios

The Olympic Kilns TL4828E is a large, top-loading electric kiln perfect for busy ceramic studios, art centers, schools, and production potters. With generous interior dimensions of 48" wide x 36" deep x 28" high, this kiln provides 28 cubic feet of firing capacity - plenty of space for large batches of pottery, sculpture, and more.

The TL4828E features a heavy-duty welded frame, stainless steel jacket, and powerful Bartlett KilnStar digital controller. This advanced controller allows for precise, customizable firing programs with features like ramp-hold, delay start, and cone offset. The controller also provides real-time information on firing progress, temperature, and cone equivalents. Upgrades like a Genesis touchscreen add even more control.

Convenient features like the built-in breaker box, optional vent and castors, and Type S thermocouple make the TL4828E highly configurable. This top-loading kiln fires to a maximum temperature of Cone 10 (2350°F), accommodating a wide range of ceramic materials from stoneware to porcelain.
